Rapper Cassper Nyovest is currently hard at work preparing for his latest #FillUp event in North West and he says this one, has been a bit much to organise.
The #FillUpMmabathoStadium is scheduled for 3 December and promises to have great acts but there have been speculations that the North West stadium is on the brink of collapse.
Cassper squished these rumours and said that they appointed two structural engineers who confirmed that the stadium is usable but not to its full capacity – reports Daily Sun.
EIGHTEEN ARTISTS TO BE PART OF FILL UP
Speaking to the publication, the Pardon My Arrogance hitmaker said “Every #FillUp is created according to the audience. The fact that we come home, we need to look at culture and heritage among others. Artists like Motlapele “Mo Molemi” Morule and others will benefit from this,” he said.
He also said that 18 artists were going to benefit from the event.
“Eighteen up-an-coming artists will benefit from this event too. We will have superstars like Makhadzi and a surprise act,” he said.
According Daily Sun, Cassper said safety measures were his priority, and they would be using only 30% of the stand.
“We are going to have a great show, even though this might have been the hardest #FillUp to organise. My people know every song, but I won’t play all of them. Even though there are many politics surrounding this event, we are definitely sure that it will be a success,” the father of one said.
CASSPER’S CALL FOR INTERNS
The Siyathandana hitmaker announced on 18 November that interns are needed for the sixth edition of his Fill Up concert series. The successful interns will learn about event planning.
