THE AWARDS RESPECT THE RAPPER’S WISHES
The SA Hip Hop Awards went on to respond to the statement.
“The South African Hip Hop would like to announce that the South African rapper, A-Reece has withdrawn from the 11th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards and will not be participating in the ceremony this year.
A-Reece has been a highlight of our last couple of shows and he deservedly had an amazing night, winning two awards namely Mixetape Of The Year and Lyricist Of The Year at The 10tb edition of the SA Hip Hop Awards last year. We appreciate and welcome his decision to withdraw his submissions and not be part of the show anymore, furthermore we’d like to wish him and his management well for the future”.
The question WHY A-Reece has decided to snub these awards still lingers to many unanswered.
The 11th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) will take place at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on 6 December 2022.
