    New Music Friday: Eminem celebrates 20 years of ‘The Eminem Show’

    Veteran American rapper Eminem has released the 20th-anniversary edition of his legendary album 2002 album, The Eminem Show. Ed Sheeran who is currently rocking away on his world tour has released the tour edition of his latest album =. Take a look at some New Music Friday releases here.

    Eminem’s The Eminem Show Expanded Edition features instrumentals and freestyles and live versions of some of the rapper’s biggest hits. The album also features an unreleased track titled Jimmy, Brian and Mike

    Ed Sheeran’s = (Equals) was officially released in October 2021 and was inspired “love, loss, new life, grief and everything in between” explained the singer.     Local producer 031 Choppa has officially released his second EP of 2022, ShakeAzul. The four-track EP is a combination of afropop and hip-hop sounds and opens beautifully with Jika featuring Magenta Rose.

    TYSON SYBATELI – ‘HOME’

    Following the release of his 2021 album Eve, local rapper Tyson Sybateli is back with a star-studded 12-track album titled Home. The track features SA hip-hop stars Jay Jody, Thato Saul, Wordz, Tron Pyre and soulful singers Una Rams and Francis Jay. 

    Home is a standout release on our New Music Friday list.
