    Primary school teacher RUTHLESSLY murdered by unknown men at work

    A 45-year-old teacher in Rustenburg was RUTHLESSLY murdered on Tuesday morning in front of the Rutanang Primary School gate, in Geelhout Park.

    The shooting took place at approximately 07:00.

    TEACHER SHOT RUTHLESSLY AT CLOSE RANGE

    Police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said from the information they received, that the teacher was in her Toyota Fortuner vehicle in front of the school gate. 

    Two unknown men approached and shot her at close range. 

    Thereafter, the suspects then walked away from the scene on foot, without taking anything.  

    “Subsequent to the summoning of the police and paramedics, the teacher was declared dead at the scene. 

    “The motive of the incident is yet to be determined. Investigation into the matter continues,”

    said Brigadier Mokgwabone.

    MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR THE TEACHER’S KILLERS

    Police have not arrested anyone at this stage.

    The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena has since called for the mobilisation of the 72-hour Activation Plan following the ruthless murder. 

    Lieutenant General Kwena expressed his shock over the callous act of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). 

    He urged members of the community to work together with the police to ensure that the suspects are brought to book. 

    Meanwhile, the police request anyone who may have information to contact Lieutenant Colonel Partson Chomela on 082 772 8124.

    WOMAN FOUND MURDERED IN HER HOUSE

    Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his mother to death and drank her blood will remain in police custody until his next court appearance in July.

    Thabang Moswane appeared before the  Koster Magistrates’ Court on charges of murder. He abandoned bail and his case has been postponed to 7 July 2022 for further investigation.

    Reports indicated that the mother Kedisaletse Elizbeth Moswane (53) and her son, Thabang got into a fight on the said day.

    On arrival at the scene, police found Kedisaletse’s body inside a shack with numerous stab wounds.

    The police were informed that Thabang was allegedly seen drinking his mother’s blood, after he stabbed her.
