    South Africa ‘A’ v Bristol Bears: Late referee change for Thursday’s match

    World Rugby has confirmed a late change to the match officials for Thursday’s clash between Bristol Bears and South Africa ‘A’ in Bristol.

    Little-known Welsh referee Adam Jones was due to be the man with the whistle, but he has been replaced by Italian Gianluca Gnecchi.

    Wales duo Ben Breakspear and Rhys Jones will be the assistant referees while their compatriot, Ian Davies, will be in the TMO booth.

    The clash at Ashton Gate will kick off at 21:30 (SA time).

    The South Africa ‘A’ side will be looking to end their two-match tour on a winning note after being comprehensively outplayed last week by an under-strength Munster side 28-14.
