    The Supreme Court of Appeal ruled that Jacob Zuma must go back to jail as his medical parole was unlawful.

    The trial of the five men accused of killing Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa resumed at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Monday, 14 November, following a two-month hiatus.

    The Roodepoort/Krugersdorp SPCA has reiterated its call for owners not to give their pets away after yet another pitbull attack on 17 November, in which 11-year-old sustained injuries and a pitbull sadly lost its life.

    BREAKING: Zuma must go back to jail as his medical parole was unlawful

    Breaking news! The Supreme Court of Appeal ruled that Jacob Zuma must go back to jail as his medical parole was unlawful.

    The appeal was raised against a High Court decision setting aside a decision to release the former president on medical parole. Zuma’s lawyers argued that sending him back to jail would be tantamount to imposing a double sentence.

    WATCH: Senzo Meyiwa murder trial

    The trial of the five men accused of killing Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa resumed at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Monday, 14 November, following a two-month hiatus.

    On Thursday, 17 November, the defence concluded its cross-examination of State witness and Meyiwa’s close friend Tumelo Madlala. State Prosecutor Advocate George Baloyi also wrapped up his re-examination of Madlala. A new witness is expected to testify on Monday, 21 November at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria where the trial is sitting.

    WATCH: A 2.2 metre-long Black Mamba caught in KZN home

    A 2.2 metre-long Black Mamba was caught in a home in KwaZulu-Natal. 

    According to Reaction Unit SA (RUSA) spokesperson Prem Balram, the Black Mamba was caught in a home in Brindhaven in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday afternoon.

    “The homeowner contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after he discovered the reptile under a vacuum cleaner in his passage. 

    “On arrival, Reaction Officers identified the snake as a Black Mamba.”

    Three pitbulls STONED, stabbed and BURNT to death after attacking a child

    Three pitbulls were stoned, stabbed, and burnt to death after they attacked a young girl in a Gatesville field. The child sustained severe injuries.

    The Cape of Good Hope SPCA said it was alerted to the brutal killing of three pitbulls by community members in Gatesville, Athlone, on Sunday.

    “According to the report received by the SPCA, the dogs had attacked a young girl in a Gatesville field.

    Pitbull attack: 11-year-old mauled trying to break up a dog fight  

    The Roodepoort/Krugersdorp SPCA has reiterated its call for owners to not give their pets away after yet another pitbull attack on 17 November, in which an 11-year-old sustained injuries and a pitbull sadly lost its life.

    This comes amid several attacks of similar nature in the past few months.

    A male pitbull was brought into the Roodepoort/Krugersdorp SPCA as a stray, and in a state of severe shock, where it was discovered that he was attacked by two other pitbulls.
