    In a horrifying video circulating on social media, a lion bit off a man’s finger who was petting him through the fence of an enclosure at a zoo, with everyone speculating whether it happened in South Africa.

    This is because the man is heard screaming the well know and loved South African swearword – [email protected]! several times in the video.

    The man puts his hand inside the lion’s enclosure, reportedly in an effort to put on a show for visitors.

    GRIM details of the BRUTAL murder of missing Bontle (6) – is this the worst crime SA?

    What happened to Bontle might be the worst crime in SA, with more GRIM details of her BRUTAL murder disclosed. Here is what we know thus far.

    Bontle Zethu Ditebogo Mashiyane, aged six, was reported missing on Saturday, 30 April 2022, by her family after she was last seen playing with other children nearby.

    According to police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, the discovery of the little girl’s body was made on Saturday, 21 May 2022, at Mganduzweni near White River.

    NICD monkeypox update: No cases detected in SA but risk of importation ‘a reality’

    More than 140 cases of monkeypox have been reported in 15 countries – mostly in Europe and North America – sparking fears that the world could soon be facing another global emergency while still in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said the risk of importation of monkeypox is a reality but also offered that it is usually a “self-limiting disease.” Therefore, the current outbreak is unlikely to be a global disaster.

    Zweli Mkhize to run for president if Mzansi wants it, Twitter does not want it

    Mzansi has continued to weigh in on former health minister Zweli Mkhize’s presidential aspirations. Some believe he is perfect to be at the helm of the ANC as he embodies the party’s values. Values that tweeps have categorised as self-serving, corrupt and detrimental to the country. 

    If Mkhize hoped to gain support after the news broke that he is willing to contest the ANC presidency, then his confidence definitely did not get a boost from Twitter. 

    Popular Twitter user Christo Thurston told his over 588 000 followers that the parliamentarian is the best option the ANC had as his track record and actions mirror the party’s values.

    Ramaphosa allegedly kicked ‘unprepared’ Mbalula OUT of meeting

    Fikile Mbalula has failed to confirm or deny reports that he was ejected from a virtual meeting by President Ramaphosa last week after he allegedly turned up unprepared and unaware of the situation he was briefed for.

    The Transport Minister is something of a lightning rod for controversy. His cosy relationship with the Guptas and recent behaviour on Twitter has drawn criticism – but his main detractors are more concerned about his job performance.
