A young man is STILL missing on Wednesday after he left Morgenzon in Mpumalanga early on Sunday morning but never reached his destination in Groblersdal in Limpopo.
THE YOUNG MAN, WILLEM KRUGER, IS STILL MISSING
Willem Kruger (29) was last seen attending a bachelor’s party.
According to Sakkie Louwrens from Bushveld Crime Investigations, there was still no sign or clues on the whereabouts of Willem. He said a large-scale search is still currently ongoing around the Vaal River near the lodge.
Marilé Nieuwoudt earlier this week said footage from the lodge’s security cameras also does not show Willem leaving the premises.
A LARGE-SCALE SEARCH WAS LAUNCHED IN AND AROUND THE VAAL RIVER
Nieuwoudt is a member of the Bethal community policing forum and is currently in charge of the joint operational network (GOS).
On Monday afternoon, watercrafts were searching the water with police diving teams from Nelspruit and Middelburg on the scene.
His worried family and friends had shared photos of him and his white Toyota Hilux (Dakar) double-cabin bakkie (FBH 948 L) on social media in the hope that someone with information could help locate him and his vehicle.
These posts are currently being shared widely on social media.
According to information on social media, Willem attended the bachelor’s party at Henbase Lodge between Morgenzon and Amersfoort.
